If the answer is not here, write to support@lyrumi.com and describe what you were doing when it went wrong. Include your app version — it is at the bottom of the Account screen.
Making a song
- How do I start?
- Two ways. Choose An idea and describe the song in a sentence or two, and the AI writes the lyrics for you in your language. Or choose My lyrics and paste your own words in. Either way you can edit the lyrics before going on, and the model then writes and performs the music around them. If you want no words at all, make an instrumental.
- What can I set?
- A style, described in your own words — “warm acoustic folk”, “late-night lo-fi”, whatever you hear in your head — a vocal (female, male, duet, or instrumental with no vocal at all), and a tempo. You can leave all of them alone and Lyrumi will choose.
- How long does it take?
- About three minutes. The screen shows where it has got to: reading your words, setting key and tempo, writing the melody, recording the vocal, mixing the take. You can leave the screen and come back — the song keeps rendering.
- Can I make a song in my language?
- Yes. The app is available in nine languages. AI lyrics are written in your language, and the model sings in the language of the words you give it.
- The result is not what I wanted.
- Generate again. The same prompt with a different style, vocal or tempo usually moves the result a long way. Each attempt costs 10 credits.
Credits
- What are credits?
- The unit Lyrumi runs on. One song version costs 10 credits. Lyrics the AI writes from your idea cost 1 credit. Writing your own lyrics, or making an instrumental, costs nothing extra.
- What do I get for free?
- A new account gets 12 credits — enough for your first song and a couple of AI-written lyrics.
- How many credits do plans and packs give?
- Standard adds 500 credits a month, about 50 songs. Plus adds 1000 a month, about 100 songs. Packs of 100, 300 or 1000 credits are a one-off purchase.
- What if a song fails to render?
- Its 10 credits go straight back to your balance, and if AI lyrics fail, that credit comes back too. You are never charged for a failed attempt.
- Where do I see how many I have left?
- On the Account screen.
- Do unused credits roll over?
- Subscription credits do not — the allowance refreshes on the same day each month and starts again from the top. Credits bought as a pack never expire.
Your songs
- How do I download a song?
- Open the song and use Download. You get an MP3 at 192 kbps.
- What does publishing do?
- It puts the song in Explore, where other signed-in users can play it, like it and comment on it. They see the title, the lyrics, the cover, and your stage name and avatar. Songs are private until you publish them, and unpublishing takes a song out of Explore straight away.
- What name do other people see?
- Your stage name — never the name you signed in with. The first time you share or publish a song, or post a comment, Lyrumi asks you for one and offers your sign-in name as a starting point; you can type anything instead. Change the name or the avatar at any time by tapping your name at the top of the Account screen, and published songs and past comments update with it.
- Can I use my own photo as an avatar?
- Yes — tap the dashed circle in the avatar grid and pick a photo. It is cropped to a square and stripped of everything except the picture itself, including where it was taken. The sixteen ready-made avatars need no upload at all.
- How do I delete a song?
- Open it, choose Delete, and confirm. It leaves Explore and your library immediately. The credits it used are not returned.
Account and purchases
- Why do I need to sign in?
- So your songs, favourites and credit balance stay with you on a new phone, and so purchases can be restored. We use your Google account only to identify you. Lyrumi never posts anywhere and never reads your contacts.
- I bought credits and they did not arrive.
- Open the Account screen and use Restore purchases. If they still do not appear within a few minutes, write to support@lyrumi.com with the Google Play order number from your receipt email.
- How do I cancel my subscription?
- In the Play Store, under Subscriptions — not in Lyrumi. Access continues to the end of the month you have already paid for.
- How do I get a refund?
- Refunds are handled by Google Play under their refund policy. Request one from your Google Play order history. Write to us as well if something went wrong on our side and we will help.
- How do I delete my account?
- Account screen, then Delete account. It is immediate and permanent. What is removed and what is kept is set out in the Privacy Policy.
Reporting something
- I found a song or comment that should not be there.
- Every published song and every comment has a report action. Choose the reason that fits and add a note. We read reports and remove content that breaks the Terms of Use.
- Someone used my work.
- Report the song for copyright, or email support@lyrumi.com with a link or the song title and a description of your rights in it.
